LEWISTON – The Androscoggin Special Olympic Track & Field Day is set to unfold today at Bates College. Athletes from local high schools and agencies from all over Androscoggin County will be competing in a variety of track and field events. including running, shot put, softball throw, standing long jump, and wheelchair races.
The public is invited to cheer for their favorite team or individuals.
Registration starts at 8:45 a.m., with opening ceremonies at 9:30.
The planning committee wants to thank all of the volunteers who assist with this track meet.
