GRAY – Gray Junior Olympic Archery Development is now accepting applications for its second winter semester. Weekly archery classes for boys and girls ages 7-18 are held in a heated indoor range. The program includes lessons, fun shoots, tournaments and awards.

Bike race scheduled

BRIDGTON – Shawnee Peak Ski Area will host the fifth annual Sebago Outfitters Snow Mountain Bike Race on Saturday, Jan. 28.

More than 100 racers are expected. Competitors will speed down boardercross style, four at a time, and the top two racers from each heat will qualify for the next one.

Registration will take place from 9-10:30 a.m. Practice runs start at 11:00, and first race begins at 1:00. Entry fee is $25 that includes an all-day lift ticket, prizes and the race.
