AUBURN – Rec-Ing Crew ran its league-leading record to 3-0 in the Auburn Rec Women’s Slowdown Basketball League with a 41-21 victory over Young Ones. Elizabeth Houghton led with 14 points. Jessica Veilleux added 11. Pauline Veinott paced Young Ones with 12. Christine Ray was next with 6.

Hoop Camp remained unbeaten a second game with a 36-32 triumph over Old School. Tracey Scott popped in 18 and Katie Morin 7. Kim Bechard (14) and Betsey Sibley (6) led Old School.

Lady Ballers entered the win column for the first time with a 27-14 victory over Independent Women. Karen Desjardin led with 8 points. Jen Robitallle added 6. Ashley Golden netted 6 in a losing effort. Jessica Day added 4.
