AUBURN – The Auburn Parks and Recreation Department is offering public skating this fall and winter at Ingersoll Arena at Pettengill Park.

The times are 12 noon to 2 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for high school students and under and Senior Citizens, and no charge for youngsters under 5.

The remaining public skating dates for November are 23, 25, 27 and 30.

December public skating dates are 4, 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30.

PORTLAND – The Thanksgiving Day 4-Miler and Kids’ K are scheduled for Thursday, November 24 at 1 City Center. The Kids’ K (12-under) is set to begin at 8:30, and the 4-mile event at 9:00. More information can be obtained by contacting George Towle at [email protected], or by calling 780-5595.
