GREENE – The 2005 A-K Girls Softball League recently ended it season with the Junior Olympic 12-Under Tournament. Sabattus Reds took first place, followed by Greene Eagles and Turner Patriots.

The Good Sportsmanship Award was presented to the Turner Bluejays.

The league would like to thank directors, parents, coaches and players for a successful season. A special thanks goes to umpire-in-chief Dave Ingerson, and J.O. Commissioner Jeanne Strout.
