LEWISTON – The mid-winter reunion of the Lahey Legion will take place Saturday, Feb. 5 as the 12th annual Lahey Bowl-Fest unfolds at Spare-Time Recreation.

A total of 170 bowlers have registered for this handicap event. Last year’s champ, Paragon Glass, a.k.a. Cameron Tire, will be on hand to defend its title. Rod Cameron and his pin-knockers will be seeking to three-peat.

Registration is 12 noon, with the tourney to begin at 12:30 sharp.

The Lahey Foundation was established 17 years ago in memory of Thomas E. Lahey, well-known local athlete and businessman who passed away Oct. 3, 1987 at the age of 43. It provides scholarship assistance to graduates of Lewiston, Edward Little, and St. Dominic’s High Schools. Since its inception, the Lahey Foundation has awarded nearly $100,000 in scholarship aid to area students.
