AUBURN – Roopers/Fireside Inn emerged as the only unbeaten team this week in the Auburn Rec Men’s Slowdown Basketball League with a 65-61 victory over Diesel Boys. Jesse St. Laurent led the winners (4-0) with 24 points. Jim Collins and Greg Viner added 11 each. Al Smith and Chad Lutick both collected 16 for Diesel. Scott Corriveau was next with 11.
