LEWISTON – An organizational meeting of the Lewiston Rec Fall Softball League will be held Thursday, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. at Lewiston Armory.

A total of 6 teams have already entered the new league. Thursday is the deadline for any additional clubs.

The circuit expects to start either Sept. 12 or 19 at 8:30 a.m., and operate each Sunday for 6 weeks.

Auburn Players

AUBURN – Ball Busters will be seeking the post-season championship tonight at 6 o’clock at Pettengill Park. The unbeaten Busters defeated CarQuest Auto 12-3 Monday to emerge as the lone undefeated club. Busters will play the winner of Tuesday’s semifinal game between CarQuest and Melanson/WAC. Melanson ousted Able Power Monday.
