LEWISTON – Falcon Shoe defeated Hannaford 9-6 in the Major Division. D.J. St. Pierre, who struck out 8 batters, collected a homer and double and knocked in 3 runs. Winning hurler Robbie Leeman belted a double and scored twice. Hannaford pitcher Josh Pellitier fanned 8 and whacked a double. Calvin Chicoine played tough defense and scored 2 runs.

Minor Division

Roux Insurance earned 2 wins in recent action in the Minor Division. Roux defeated Wal-Mart 4-1 as winning hurler Nathan Berube drove in 3 runs on 2 hits. Ryan Weber and Kyle Gosselin were also repeat hitters. Shawn Ricker banged 2 hits for Wal-Mart. Ryan Laverdiere played fine defense. . . The Insurancemen also edged D.A. Poussard Construction 3-2 as Gosselin earned the mound win. Brandon Perron clouted a game-winning 2-run homer. Brady Blouin cracked 2 safeties. Robert Krasny and Dan Lewandowski were the top sticks for Poussard.

Lighting Concepts also notched 2 victories, the first over Poussard 4-2. Devin Long collected a double and triple and Zach McCarthy also ripped 2 hits and drove in a run. . . Concepts also blanked Roux Insurance 6-0 as Jacob Lapierre, Austin Lee and Long all socked 2 hits. Luke Cote was the winning pitcher. Ryan Pare had 2 hits for Roux.

D.A. Poussard squeezed out a 5-4 win over Wendy’s as Ray Goulet ripped 2 hits. Winning hurler was R. Nielsen. Wendy’s loaded the bases with no outs in the last inning but couldn’t score as 2 runners were thrown out at the plate.

Auburn Suburban

AUBURN – Pepsi defeated Rotary 22-9 in the Major Softball Division. Alyssa Levesque legged out an inside-the-park homer run and Beth Potter doubled. Danielle Paul was the winning pitcher. Katie Lashua and Katie St. Hilaire both cracked 2 hits for Rotary.

South Lewiston

LEWISTON – Joey Fournier tripled and knocked in 3 runs as Gendron Mobile defeated Dube Gravel 16-5 in the Major Division. Jeff Keene collected a double and 2 singles and drove in 2 runs. Conroy LeBlond gained the pitching win. Jeremy LaPierre ripped a 2-run triple for Dube. Ben Chick Reny was a repeat hitter.
