The Southern Maine Premier Soccer Club has scheduled tryouts for Sunday, July 25 and Sunday, Aug. 8 at the Wainwright Athletic Complex in South Portland. A third tryout session is also planned sometime in the fall, with the specific date to be announced in the coming weeks. SMP staff would like all players to wear their current travel team/premier jerseys and be ready to begin playing on the following times; U-11 Girls (Developmental Team) 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.; U-12 Girls 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.; U-13 Girls 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.; U-14 Girls 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.; U-15 and U-16 Girls 3:30 – 5 p.m. Players are reminded to bring water, shin guards, cleats/turf Shoes, a soccer ball; a birth certificate, and the $15 registration fee.
