LEWISTON – The Lewiston Recreation Department is planning adult tennis leagues beginning later this month.

Sunday, August 27 will be the start of a Mixed Doubles League. B and C Divisions will play at 4:30, and the A Division will compete at 6:00.

A Singles League is planned, as follows: August 28, Men’s C, 5:30; B, 7:00; August 29, Women’s C, 5:30; B, 7:00; August 3, Women’s A, 5:30; Men’s A, 7:00.

Registration for the leagues is taking place at the Lewiston Rec Department at Lewiston Armory, or on line. Entry fee is $40 for residents, and $50 for non-residents. Anita Murphy is the program director.
