WALES – Tyler Pomerleau poured in eight goals to lift Oak Hill to a huge 15-11 triumph over Morse.
The Shipbuilders (9-2) were ranked No. 1 in the most recent Eastern Class B standings, while Oak Hill (9-2) was just sixth with fewer point-rich victories.
Morse led 7-6 at halftime before the Raiders took command in the third quarter. Drew Jannelle added four goals, while Nick Brown had two goals and three assists. Jake Girard also scored. Dan Fontaine was credited with 20 saves in goal.
Pat Wolfe scored five goals to lead Morse. Nick Saunders and Luke Moreau added two apeice.
Lewiston 13, Oxford Hills 1
LEWISTON – Mason Giroux and Alex Stone netted four goals each, and Ben Landry and Jon Roy added two apiece to lead Lewiston to a 13-1 victory over Oxford Hills in KVAC lacrosse action Saturday.
The Blue Devils (10-1) jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the first quarter, took a 6-1 lead into halftime and added seven more in the second half to put the Vikings (0-11) away.
Spencer Eusden scored the lone goal for Oxford Hills, and Mike Standly made 15 saves. Kyle Dussault and Alex Pare split goaltending duties for Lewiston. Dussault didn’t make a save, and Pare stopped one shot.
