BOWIE, Md. – The Bowie Baysox used a four-run second inning to beat the Portland Sea Dogs 4-3 on Tuesday night at Prince George’s Stadium.

The loss for Portland snapped its five-game road winning streak and dropped its overall record to 17-7. The Baysox improved to 12-12, defeating Portland for the first time at home in two years.

Dustin Richardson (3-2) suffered his second straight loss for the Sea Dogs. The lefty yielded all four runs in the second inning but only one was earned.

Chris Tillman (2-0) pitched a season-high 51/3 innings, scattering four hits and one run to take the victory. The 20-year-old righty fanned six and left the game with a 4-0 lead in the sixth inning.

Jeff Corsaletti collected four of Portland’s nine hits by going 4-for-4. Corsaletti had two singles, double and added a triple in the eighth inning. Portland trailed 4-0 but Andrew Pinckney delivered a two-out, 2-run single in the sixth inning. Portland’s final run came on Aaron Bates’ sacrifice fly in the eighth.
