Normally, I’d be rooting for Buccaneers, but at this time of year, I’m conditioned to automatically wish the worst upon anyone currently living in above-freezing conditions. Go Giants.

Titans at Chargers

4:30 p.m., CBS

At 6 a.m. Sunday, Norv Turner will get out of the shower, pick up his comb, part his hair and whisper “It’s Turner Time” to his visage in the mirror. Then his wife will walk in and say “Norv, dear, you left your whistle in the toaster again.” And Marty Schottenheimer will sleep in on Sunday.
