KEENE, N.H. – The third-seeded Keene State College Owls tallied three unassisted goals in a span of 15 minutes midway through the first half en route to a 3-1 victory over the sixth-seeded University of Southern Maine Huskies Tuesday night in a first-round match of the 2007 Little East Conference women’s soccer championship.

The Owls, who won their fourth straight match, move into a semifinal match Thursday in Willimantic, Conn., against second-seeded Eastern Connecticut State University. The Owls improved their overall record to 12-7-1. The Huskies finished their season at 7-11-0.
