SACO – Elliot Avenue Little League ended pool play Monday with another win and has moved on to the semifinals of the 11-year-old Maine Little League Tournament.
Alex Small scored the winning run in the bottom of the sixth as Elliot knocked off Ellsworth, 7-6, on Monday to improve to 3-0. Small and Jeremy Kearns shared the pitching duties.
Small, Tom Hird, Evan Bourassa,& Nick Perreault were the repeat hitters for Elliot.
Elliot now advances to the semi finals Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. against Saco. The other semi final game is Falmouth against Hampton at 3 p.m. The championship game is scheduled for Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
