WISCASSETT – Emily Stinchfield led all scorers with 11 points to lead Mt. Abram to a 55-44 triumph over Wiscasset.

The Roadrunners (4-3) enjoyed a balanced night on offense, with Heather Hayes and Morgan Cummings each scoring eight points, and Kenni Norton, Brittany York, and Janessa Thomas all contributing seven points to the win.

Sarah Pierce had 10 points and four steals for Wiscassett (0-6), and Megan Foye scored eight points to go with 13 rebounds.

Brewer 54, Lewiston 50 (OT)

BREWER – Katie Quimby scored 24 points, including nine in the extra frame, and drained five 3-point buckets to lift Brewer to a 54-50 overtime victory against Lewiston.

Stacey Gomm scored her only two points of the game count, hitting a pair of free throws to force the extra period. Caitlyn Wilson and Elizabeth Cote each scored nine points for the Witches (3-3).

Katie Nadeau scored 15 points to lead the Blue Devils (2-5), and Danielle Willey added 10 points, with a pair of 3-pointers. Allison Morin chipped in with eight points.

MCI 56, Oak Hill 26

PITTSFIELD – Kasey Dodge and Ruth Oviatt each netted 12 points as MCI cruised past Oak Hill, 56-26.

Bianca Asaro added eight points, including a 3-pointer, and Jenna Laurentson also contributed eight points for MCI.

Cassie Kupfer scored nine points and grabbed six rebounds for the Raiders (0-6), and Emily Sabine chipped in with five points and four steals.

Skowhegan 54, EL 31

SKOWHEGAN – Kayla Thompson scored a team-high 12 points in a balanced attack as Skowhegan tripped up Edward Little 54-31 in KVAC girls’ basketball.

The Indians (6-0) found a groove in the second quarter and warmed up to a 24-13 lead at halftime, before improving offensively in the third quarter with a 21-6 run.

Megan Smith contributed 10 points in the winning effort.

Junior center Kelsey Nicholas paced the Red Eddies (1-5) with a double-double, tallying 12 points and 14 rebounds.
