VASSALBORO – Rain postponed today’s scheduled State Golf Tournament at the Natanis Golf Club.

The boys’ tournament has been moved to Wednesday, Oct. 19, beginning at 10 a.m. The girls’ tournament will follow on Thursday at 11 a.m.

Maine soccer gets moved

ORONO – The America East mens’ soccer game scheduled today between the University of Maine and the University of Vermont has been moved to Hampden Academy due to projected rain.

The field at Hampden has an all-weather field turf field, as opposed to the all-grass University of Maine Alumni field. Game time remains the same with a noon kickoff.

Maine (2-7-2) is looking for its first conference win of the season, while the Catamounts are tied for fourth in the America East conference with a 9-4-1 record.
