DIXFIELD – Melissa Harvey scored a goal five minutes into the fourth overtime to lift Dirigo to a 3-2 victory over Wiscasset in trhe Western Class C girls’ soccer semifinals on Wednesday.

Katie Hutchinson netted a pair of goals for the Cougars (14-0-2) to complete the scoring. Christina Chow made eight saves to notch the win.

Jaqueline Yatsko tallied both goals for the Redskins (10-2-4).

Maranacook 2, York 0

READFIELD – Toby Martin and Jackie Mrazik each scored first-half goals to give Maranacook a 2-0 victory over York in the Western Class B semifinals.

Martin’s goal came 2:14 into the contest after chasing a rebound off of the York keeper. Mrazik netted the insurance goal with 6:02 left in the first half off a long cross from Danielle Poulin.

Melissa Piper turned away 14 shots to preserve the shutout for the Black Bears. Lindsay Shaumway made 10 saves for York.

Hebron 0, Tilton 0 (OT)

TILTON, N.H. – Hebron and Tilton drew to a 0-0 tie in soccer action Wednesday.

Though Hebron outshot Tilton, 11-1 it could not convert several key scoring opportunities. Hebron also had the edge in penalty corners, 6-4.
