BETHANY BEACH, Del. – The Lewiston Smashers boys’ doubles team of Calvin Chicoine and Michael Butler did not allow Rahanis to score as they cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win in the 2004 USA Team Tennis Championship on Friday afternoon.

In the girls’ doubles competition, Julia Bergeron and Kasey Boucher won 6-2, 6-4.

In mixed competition, Ben McDonough and Stephanie Gagne prevailed, winning 6-0, 6-5. In singles, Will Emerson and Chantalle Lavertu were both victorious. Lewiston came out ahead 60 games to 25, overall.

Lewiston plays three matches today in Dover.
