Rangeley 78, Gould 23

RANGELEY – Krysteen Romero netted a game-high 25 points to pace Rangeley to a 78-23 rout over Gould in late-season girls’ basketball action Wednesday.

The Lakers jumped out to a 23-6 lead at the end of the first and were never challenged.

Sarah Schrader chipped in for the Lakers (16-0) with 16 points, while Justine Frost-Kolva contributed 13 points and six steals. Ashley Morton pulled down 13 rebounds ina strong performance.

Heather Kellener led Gould (6-12) with 14 points.
