WATERVILLE – Kelsey Varney canned a game-high 20 points to lead Lewiston to a 63-40 KVAC riumph over Waterville on Tuesday night.

Amanda Bryant chipped in 10 points for the unbeaten Blue Devils (7-0).

Danae Plaisted recorded 12 points and nine rebounds for the Panthers (1-8).

Valley 68, Buckfield 18

BUCKFIELD – Melanie Bell netted 14 points to pace Valley to a 68-18 EWC girls’ basketball win over Buckfield.

Kristen Baker chipped in 12 points for the Cavaliers (6-1).

Chelsea Allen led the Bucks (0-10) with six points.

Eastgate 48, Gould 46

NEW GLOUCESTER – Angie Elvin scored the game-winning basket as Eastgate Christian held off Gould 48-46 in Class D action.

Elvin led Eastgate with 14 points.

Brittany Legare added 13 and Haley Veilleux contributed nine points and 19 rebounds for the Eagles (9-1).

Heather Kelleher led Gould (1-5) with 19 points and Whitney Bliss with 18 .

Kents Hill 58, Elan 10

KENTS HILL – Olivia Clukey netted 16 points and recorded six steals as Kents Hill dominated Elan 58-10.

Aleigh Mills was solid defensively and also scored 12 points for Class C Kents Hill (6-0). Kents Hill made 19 steals.

Lauren Epstein paced Elan (1-7) with four points.

Camden Hills 50, Oak Hill 30

WALES – Sam Wiley scored nine of her game-high 13 points in the third quarter, helping Camden Hills turn a halftime tie into an 18-point lead and pave the way to a 50-30 KVAC win over Oak Hill.

Ashley Medeiros led Oak Hill (2-9) with nine points.

The Raiders led 10-4 after the first period before the Windjammers (9-3) used gains of 11-5 in the second and 23-5 in the third to take command.
