LISBON – Alexa Kaubris poured in 15 points as Dirigo rolled past Lisbon, 51-14, Wednesday night 51-14 in a MVC girls’ basketball matchup.

Michelle Holmquist chipped in with 13 points for the Cougars (9-0).

Dominique Matthew led the Greyhounds (0-9) with four points, while Soleil Matthew and Angie Estes added three apiece.

Rangeley 52,

Waynflete 33

RANGELEY – Sarah Shraider drained 20 points, leading Rangeley to a 52-33 victory over Waynflete Wednesday night.

Krysteen Romero chipped in 14 points on behalf of the Lakers (5-0) and also came up with five steals.

The Flyers’ (6-1) Kaeila Unimah led the team with her game-high 21 points.

Jay 67, Carrabec 39

NORTH HANSON- Heather Johnson dropped in 23 points to lead Jay to a 67-39 win over Carrabec Wednesday evening in a girls’ basketball game.

Kate Dimillo chipped in with a healthy 21 points. At the half, the Tigers (6-2) were already ahead by 19 points.

For Carrabec (0-9), Kelly Rodman deposited 13 points.

Mountain Valley 40, Madison 23

MADISON- Kristen Arseanult carried a game-high 17 points to lead Mountain Valley to a 40-23 victory over Madison in girls’ basketball Wednesday evening. At the half, the Falcons were steaming ahead by nine points. The Bulldogs’ (3-5) Stephanie Rich and Cassie Stuart combined for 12 points.

Wiscasset 72,

Georges Valley 33

WISCASSET -Amanda Davies scored a game-high 20 points as Wiscasset rolled over Georges Valley 72-33 in girls’ basketball Wednesday night.

Sarah Whitefield chipped in with 15 points for the Redskins. Georges Valley was led by Rachel Campbell with 14 points.

Mt. Abram 55, Telstar 52

SALEM – Brianna Wilkins netted 19 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to pace Mt. Abram to a narrow 55-52 victory over Telstar in a MVC basketball matchup Wednesday.

Wilkins was the only player for the Roadrunners (7-2) to reach double digits.

Abby Wentworth led the Rebels’ (6-3) scoring effort with 19 points, while Jillian Kimball chipped in with 10. The Roadrunners held a 31-26 lead at the half, then slipped slightly in the third quarter.
