Bath- Craig Cormier crossed the plate with the game winning run in the top of the fifith inning as Nick Lawler (3-5, 4 RBI) singled to lift New Auburn Post 153 to an 11-7 win over top seeded Mid Coast in Zone III semifinal baseball playoff action Saturday afternoon.

Lawler and Jay Verrill (2-4) led a 16 hit attack to upset the top seeded Mid-Coast entry.

David Roberge picked up the win pitching two scorless innings in relief of New Auburn’s starter Rory Flynn.

Mid Coast was led by Jim Ouellette who trippled and doubled in the loss. Pierce Wegman, John Teft, Andy Cantrell and Brady WIlliams each chipped in with a double in the loss.

New Auburn will square off against Bessey Motors Sunday afternoon.
