PARIS — The Oxford County Democratic Committee will caucus Sunday, Jan. 14, to select names to submit to Gov. Paul LePage for consideration for sheriff.
The meeting will be held at 1 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, 17 East Main St. Only members of the Oxford County Democratic Committee can participate.
The caucus is necessitated by the resignation of Wayne Gallant of Bethel in December after multiple complaints of inappropriate sexual behavior.
Following the caucus, a regular monthly meeting of Oxford County Democrats will be held.
