BOSTON (AP) – The Boston Celtics have signed free agent center Patrick O’Bryant.
The Celtics did not disclose terms of the deal, announced Wednesday.
O’Bryant, the ninth overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, played 40 games for the Golden State Warriors, averaging 1.7 points and 1.3 rebounds per game. He scored a career-high 10 points against the Los Angeles Clippers on Nov. 16 last year.
The 7-foot O’Bryant is a former Bradley Brave player who appeared in eight games for the Bakersfield Jam of the Development League last season, averaging 16.9 points, 10.1 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game.
