‘Romantic Masterworks’
Hebron Academy will open the 2009-10 Cohen Chamber Music Concert Series Friday, Oct. 30, with a “Great Romantic Masterworks” performance by the Tancrede Trio, playing selections from Chopin, Bartholdy and Franck. The group is made up of violinist Yevgeny Kutik, above; pianist Victor Santiago Asuncion; and cellist Jan Müller-Szeraws. This will be the inaugural concert for the academy’s 1919 Perkins Steinway Piano, named in honor of Faculty Emeritus Forest Perkins, who retired last spring after 26 years of teaching music theory and appreciation.
