DIXFIELD — Neighborly Senior Citizens met on Oct. 21 with 70 present to celebrate their 40th anniversary.
The meeting was called to order by President Connie Tutlis. Celebrating October birthdays were Louise Richard, Janice Swan, June Merchant, Frankie McDonald, Joe Nasatowicz and Martha Sweatt. Celebrating October anniversaries were Morton and Sandra Frost, Louise and Bob Richard and Carol and Ken Rafuse.
The 50/50 was won by Carol Rafuse and Dick Walsh.
Tutlis thanked all who have helped in any way on the beano suppers.
Nickel Beano will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 4. The doors will open at noon. Beano will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. All are welcome.
There will be a shopping trip to Portland on Friday, Nov. 20. Call Connie at 364-4189 for more information or to sign up. Cost is $5 for those 60 and over and $10 for those under 60. The shopping trip is open to anyone, regardless of age.
An Indian Head Christmas Party will take place on Monday, Dec. 7. For more information, call Connie at 364-4189 or Carol at 364-4798.
Carol Gallant spoke and thanked Connie for all of the work she does for the Neighborly Senior Citizens.

The next meeting will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18. There will be a Christmas sale, potluck dinner and nickel beano. The nickel beano will be open to the public and doors will be open at 12:30 pm. New members are welcome.
