LIVERMORE FALLS — The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met at Murray Hall on Oct. 26 with 29 members present.
Chairwoman Shirley Couture opened the meeting with a prayer, a salute to the flag and a moment of silence for deceased members and for the men and women in the armed forces.
The Secretary’s report was read and accepted.
It was reported that Lois Goding is still at Sandy River and is doing well.
A change was made in the cost of the Christmas dinner. The cost will be $11, with the club paying $5.50.
The Happy Birthday song was sung to club members celebrating birthdays during October. They were Joyce Richard, Athanase Couture, Blanche Bilodeau, Shirley Couture and Diane Getz.
The 50-50 was won by Margaret Richardson and the door prize was won by Marilyn DeSoto.
The meeting was adjourned and donuts and cider were served and cards and games were played.
