FARMINGTON — Lucy is a female walker hound mix. Staff members at the Franklin County Animal Shelter said that she came in as a stray but was obviously someone’s dog. They said that the owners never came to find her, so she is waiting for her new forever home where she can have a new chance at being the best dog she can be.

She loves people and just wants to find a person of her own, said staff members.

New dogs at the shelter include a male terrier mix from Wilton, a male shar-pei mix from Temple, a female dachshund mix from New Sharon, a female chocolate Lab Mix from New Sharon, a beagle from East Livermore, a female hound mix from Industry and a female terrier mix from Avon.
