Girls’ Hockey
Coach: Don Boucher (2nd year)
Returning letter winners: Seniors – Alex Landry, Meagan Poulin, Ali Desjardin; Juniors – Sophie Goulet, Alli Hebert, Lydia Martin, Anna Desjardin, Kayla Gelinas; Sophomores – Kate Lecombe, Kiana Fecteau, Nicole Keaney.
Promising newcomers: Sophomore – Meghan Hargraves; Freshmen – Ann McIntire, Kayla McLellan, Emily Poulin.
Outlook: Things are much brighter this season for the Saints. Once the perennial favorite in the club-level league, the Saints tumbled a bit last season in the first year of full varsity status. This season’s newcomers, along with the natural maturation last year’s young squad, should put the Saints right back in the hunt by the end of the season. Look for the Saints to challenge the top teams in the league.
Coach’s comment: “Our team is really starting to come together, and I think we’ll be able to put last year behind us pretty quick.”
