In light of the many things that have been going on in this country and state, politically, I have a few thoughts to share that I believe are relevant and necessary, while I still have the right to speak freely as an American.

I firmly believe that when elected officials no longer respect and carry out the intent of the majority of the people who elected them, they should then be held accountable to a process of recall and impeachment.

I also believe that identification and residency verification needs to be in place at every election level when people legally go to the polls to vote. All candidates should show proof of their birth places as well, prior to running for any office, from the bottom to the top.

There are far too many career politicians in office today who are not carrying out a government of the people, by the people and for the people. In light of that national fact, term limits need to be in place to protect the citizens of the country.

We are where we are today because our leaders are monopolizing people’s weaknesses, not their strengths. It is time for people to be strong and exercise our rights as a free people, under God, for future generations. That’s what makes America the “land of the free and the home of the brave” before it’s too late.
