WASHINGTON – Baron Davis had 33 points, 15 assists and 11 rebounds, Stephen Jackson scored 28 points, and Golden State ended Washington’s six-game winning streak.

Caron Butler, coming off a career-high 39-point effort Wednesday, did his best to keep Washington unbeaten without sidelined All-Star Gilbert Arenas, but it wasn’t quite enough. Butler finished with 26 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists, while Antawn Jamison had 30 points and 12 rebounds.

Heat 98, Rockets 91

MIAMI – Shaquille O’Neal and Dwyane Wade both played their best games of the season, and Miami finally won at home.

O’Neal had season highs of 26 points and 14 rebounds, Wade scored a season-high 31 points, and the Heat handed the Rockets their sixth straight loss.

Magic 105, Bobcats 92

ORLANDO, Fla. -Dwight Howard had 34 points and 17 rebounds to help Orlando overcome a poor shooting night.

Spurs 101, Grizzlies 88

SAN ANTONIO – Tim Duncan scored 28 points and San Antonio beat Memphis for its fourth straight victory. Tony Parker added 21 points and eight assists for the Spurs.

Pistons 83, 76ers 79

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – Tayshaun Prince scored 15 points and Detroit Pistons held on for its fourth home victory in four games.

Detroit never shook the Sixers until the final seconds. Philadelphia’s Andre Iguodala hit a 3-pointer to cut the lead to 79-78 with less than 15 seconds to play, but Chauncey Billups made two free throws and the Pistons forced Iguodala into a bad shot at the other end that missed the rim.

Iguodala had 17 points and six assists for the Sixers, who also got 15 points from reserve Louis Williams.
