ORLANDO, Fla. – Dwyane Wade had 36 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists to lift the Miami Heat over the Orlando Magic 110-100 Wednesday night.
The loss came on a busy day for the Magic, who were working to complete a trade with the Detroit Pistons for Darko Milicic, the No. 2 pick in the 2003 draft.
A source within the NBA, speaking on the condition of anonymity because the deal had not been announced by either team, said the Magic also will receive Carlos Arroyo in exchange for a first-round selection and Kelvin Cato.
It was the Heat’s second win over Orlando in as many days, and they did it without a huge game from Shaquille O’Neal. The All-Star center had seven points and 11 rebounds before fouling out with 27.6 seconds remaining.
