BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (AP) – Brandon Bochenski scored his second goal of the game in overtime to give the Binghamton Senators a 4-3 win over the Portland Pirates Wednesday night in the American Hockey League.

After Portland went ahead 3-0 in the second period, Jeff Heerema sparked Binghamton’s rally with a goal just over a minute later.

Bochenski tallied a power-play goal midway through the third period, and Danny Bois tied the game with a backhand score with less than five minutes remaining in regulation. Binghamton outshot Portland 19-3 in the period.

Bochenski was credited with two assists, while Heerema assisted on the game-winner. Goalie Billy Thompson made 36 saves for the Senators (19-25-2-2).

Joel Perrault and Pierre Parenteau scored goals 19 seconds apart and each had two assists for the Pirates (29-13-5-3). Curtis Glencross opened the scoring nine minutes into the first period.

Nathan Marsters stopped 37 shots in the loss.
