ATLANTA (AP) – Primoz Brezec made the go-ahead basket in the final seconds and Brevin Knight scored 22 points as the Charlotte Bobcats beat the Atlanta Hawks 93-90 on Tuesday night.

The Bobcats improved to 4-11 on the road, but they have won three consecutive away games and three of four overall.

Reserves Bernard Robinson and Keith Bogans each scored 13 points for Charlotte, which snapped Atlanta’s four-game winning streak at home.

Gerald Wallace drove the right baseline and passed to Brezec, who dribbled into the lane for a 5-footer with 14 seconds to go that gave the Bobcats a 91-90 lead.

Knight, who missed two foul shots 1:10 earlier that would given the lead back to Charlotte, hit a pair of free throws to end the scoring with 7 seconds remaining.

Al Harrington led the Hawks with 19 points and seven assists. He was 8-for-12 from the field before missing his last six shots.

After catching Josh Childress’ inbound pass from the left side, Harrington couldn’t get off a 3-point attempt, so he passed quickly to Childress, who missed a straightaway shot that would have forced overtime.

Tyronn Lue had 17 points for Atlanta, which had won five of its last seven. Joe Johnson scored 15 and added seven assists. Zaza Pachulia pulled down 13 rebounds.

Brezec gave the Bobcats their last double-figure lead when his 16-footer made it 59-48 midway through the third quarter.

The Hawks went on a 32-13 run that ended with consecutive layups by Salim Stoudamire.

Notes: Starters Emeka Okafor (ankle) and Kareem Rush (finger) have each missed three straight games for the Bobcats. Sean May (knee) and Jake Voskuhl (ankle) didn’t play, either. … Charlotte improved to just 2-15 when scoring fewer than 100 points. … Two games after his career-high 26 points at Miami, Atlanta rookie Marvin Williams, the No. 2 overall draft pick, has scored just two points with seven rebounds and seven fouls in his last 34-plus minutes.
