MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) – Glen Murray scored two goals and Jiri Slegr had three assists in the Boston Bruins’ 6-2 exhibition victory over the New York Islanders on Saturday night.
Murray was playing his first game of the preseason after missing the first three because of an ankle injury.
Ian Moran, Ben Guite, Eric Healey and Ben Walter also scored for the Bruins (2-2-0), Joe Thornton had two assists, and Hannu Toivonen made 29 saves.
Robert Nillson scored a power-play goal and Ryan Caldwell also scored for the Islanders (2-2-0).
