PORTLAND (AP) – Prentice Redman had a two-run homer in the seventh inning as the Binghamton Mets came from behind to beat the Portland Sea Dogs 6-4 on Saturday at Hadlock Field.

Portland (2-6) took a 3-1 lead on two-run homer by Mike Campo in the third and expanded its lead to 4-1 in the fourth on a throwing error.

But Binghamton (8-2) scored twice in a fifth inning that included an RBI single by Wayne Lydon. The Mets then tied the game on David Wright’s RBI double in the seventh. Redman’s game-winning homer in the same inning was his first.

Binghamton reliever Blake McGinley got the win by shutting out Portland over three-and-two-thirds innings. Kole Strayhorn struck out the Sea Dogs one-two-three in the ninth for the save.

Portland’s Charlie Weatherbee took the loss in relief, giving up three runs on three hits.
