MEXICO – Summer reading at the Mexico Public Library isn’t just for kids this summer. It’s for adult patrons, too.

Beginning the week of June 22 and continuing through the week of Aug. 14, for every book that an adult reader (age 16 and over) reads and finishes, they will be eligible to enter a weekly drawing for a gift.

Fill out a ticket at the library’s circulation desk with name, phone number and book title. Then wait for a phone as weekly prize winner. The drawings will be done on Friday afternoons. The following prizes are being offered: week 1, canvas tote bag; week 2, “Read” coffee mug; week 3, wire art bookmark; week 4, “I’d Rather be Reading” mug; week 5, apron; week 6, “So Many Books” tote bag; week 7, “Master the Art” note cube; week 8, DVD.
