Yard sale

GRAY – A yard sale, a fundraiser for Fiddlehead Center’s scholarship program, will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 13, in the parking area at the center, 25 Shaker Road.

Donations will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 6 .m. Friday, June 12, and from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Saturday, June 13. Unfinished objects/projects and craft items are welcome.

Receipts for donations will be provided, Fiddlehead Center is a 501(c)3 organization. For more information, call 657-2244.

Donations needed

GREENE – Tommy’s Feral Feline Friends is looking for donations of items to be sold at their annual yard sale. The sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, June 19 and 20, at 242 Sawyer Road. Contact Norm at 650-8374 for a time to pick up donations.

Flag day

MONMOUTH – The Monmouth Museum, Main Street, Route 133, will hold Flag Day ceremonies from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 14.

The colors will be presented, flag talks will be given, the museum will be open for tours and hot dogs, soda, popcorn and home-baked goods will be on sale. Free flags will be given to all children who attend.

Families who have members currently serving in the armed services are asked to call the museum with the person’s name. A flag will be displayed on the grounds the day of the event to represent them. Call Jackie Wing at 933-2837. The activities are free for all to attend.
