Seniors to meet

DIXFIELD – Neighborly Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, at the Dixfield Legion Hall. A potluck dinner will be followed by playing nickel beano, which will be open to the public at 12:30 p.m.

New members are welcome to join the Neighborly Senior Citizens. For more information, call Connie at 364-4189. There is still space available on the Cabbage Island Trip on July 17. Call Connie if interested.

Class to meet

MEXICO – Members of the Stephens High School Class of 1949 will meet for luncheon at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, at the Chicken Coop.

Sale, auction

RUMFORD – There will be a food sale, Chinese auction and raffle from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 23, in the Marden’s parking lot. A highlight will be a handmade quilt raffle. Proceeds will benefit the Oxford County Mental Health PNMI activity fund.

Summer hours

DIXFIELD – Ludden Memorial Library will have new summer hours beginning on Monday, May 25. The last pre-school storytime was on May 18 and it will resume on Sept. 14. The library will be closed Saturdays, May 23 through Sept. 6.
