LEWISTON – St. Mary’s Physical Therapist Becky Harrington and Exercise Physiologist Maria Pete will present an information session about osteoporosis from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, in the second-floor conference room, Center for Physical Rehabilitation, Trolley Medical Building, 77 Bates St.
They will explain what osteoporosis is, its symptoms, how it is diagnosed, and how cancer patients have a higher risk for developing the disease. They will also provide strategies for achieving better bone health.
