RUMFORD – Mountain Valley High School is hosting a community wide effort to reduce the amount of student drug and alcohol use as a whole and particularly during graduation week. The school is calling the initiative “Keeping Students Safe.”
The community is invited to a brainstorming session at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 9, in the Mountain Valley High School library. Assistant Principal Chris Decker said they plan to spend most of the time brainstorming ideas to deal with the problem and select tasks for follow-up.
Those who plan to attend should contact Decker at 364-4547.
