FARMINGTON – Titcomb Mountain is finishing up its season and will close on Sunday, March 15. As of March 9, the mountain had received more than 96 inches of snow, and alpine slopes and Nordic trails have good conditions.

The final weekend will include the annual Downhill Dummy Competition at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 14. The event will start with judging of the “dummies” for two categories: originality and workmanship. The downhill portion will start at 2 p.m., and participants will be judged on longest distance, most spectacular crash, jump distance and jump crash.

Titcomb Mountain will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. For more information, visit www.titcombmountain.com or call 778-9031.
