PARIS – “Managing Your Woodlot – A Beginner’s Course,” a six-week course for woodlot owners, will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, Paris.

Among topics included will be tree ID, deeds and boundaries, timber harvesting, wildlife management, forestry taxes, forestry regulations and working with a consulting forester.

There will be a $20 charge for the course. All materials will be supplied. The workshop is being sponsored by the Maine Forest Service.
