STRONG – Franklin County Republican Committee Chairman Michael Wells has announced that the committee will hold its annual Lincoln Day Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 21, at Forster Memorial Hall. The reception will begin at 5:30.

The cost will be $8 at the door and University of Maine at Farmington students will receive a two-for-one rate. A turkey dinner will be served.

The keynote speaker will be Waterville Mayor Paul LePage, general manager of Marden’s. John Frary will speak on Lincoln and the Constitution.

Josh Tardy, GOP leader in the Maine House, Charlie Webster, new State GOP Committee chairman, and Sen. Walter Gooley will also speak.

Wells also announced that the next county committee meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, in UMF Conference Room C-23 in the Roberts Learning Center.
