BRIDGTON – Jim Knox will instruct a digital camera course at the Bridgton Community Center for six weeks from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays, Feb. 10 through March 17. The cost is $45.

The course will review the modes and zones of students’ digital cameras. The course will cover zoom, focus, correct exposure and depth of field. They will also compare natural and flash for scenic views and portraits.

Since most digital cameras are automatic, a lot of the time will involve aspects of composition. There will be a weekly review of students’ photos.

Knox has been an avid photographer for many years, enjoying creative photography and working professionally in Boston. He continues to take photo classes, the most recent with Tim Byrne in Portland.

Knox also spent a week at Maine Photo Workshops in Rockport. This will be the third film and digital photo course he has taught in Bridgton. His photographs have been displayed at Bridgton Community Center, Gallery 302 and other places.
