Free workshops

PARIS – The Maine Educational Opportunity Center will host free workshops, “Essentials of College Planning,” at the following times and locations:

Rumford Career Center, 35 Congress St., on Monday, Feb. 2, at 10 a.m.

South Paris Career Center, 232 Main St., on Mondays, Feb. 9 and 23, at 10 a.m.

Elks karaoke

RUMFORD – Rumford Lodge of Elks 862 will hold a karaoke with Lina Hussey from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24. There will be hot wings or sausage subs with fries for $6, serving from 6 to 8 p.m. $2 for members, $3 for guests.
