The Mu Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma held a Christmas banquet on Dec. 10 at the Green Ladle in Lewiston. About 35 women gathered for a supper, Christmas carols and an old-fashioned gift swap. Mu adopted a family for Christmas, donating a gift card for groceries and gifts for each member of the family. Some of the members also made Christmas stockings with a few surprises. The chapter donated more than $800 to pay for heat to help keep seven homes warm this winter. From left are Susan Cornelius, personal growth and services chairwoman, and Jean Roy.
