Duck nesting boxes up for sponsorships

NORWAY – The Norway-Paris Fish and Game Association has a history of putting out and maintaining duck nesting boxes in the surrounding area. The club has about 120 boxes out.

This year the club is offering everyone the opportunity to sponsor a duck box. It is a way to participate in the activity as a sponsor or to recognize someone special by dedicating the box in their name.

A metal plate will be attached to the duck box with the name of the sponsor or dedication name for a cost of $20. The sponsorship is good for the life of the box, about 10 years. It will help defray the cost of replacement boxes.

Those who would like more information on the new project should call Richard Kimball at 583-4750 or Mark Truman at 743-7445.
